Charity members

Becoming a Charity Member is a simple way to become a little more involved with Muscular Dystrophy UK.

A bit like shareholders of a company, they help shape the agenda and objectives of our charity. They contribute to the recruitment of new Trustees and improve our accountability to members and supporters. We also invite Charity Members to attend and vote at all our general meetings (including the AGM).

Is Charity Membership for you?

Our members come from all walks of life – those living with muscle wasting conditions, family members, doctors, scientists, branch members and representatives, and other supporters. Whether you are new to the charity or a longstanding supporter, we’d welcome your application to become a member.

Charity membership of Muscular Dystrophy UK is free and open to:

  • individuals aged 18 or over
  • organisations (by nominating a named individual)
