The Great South Run is the world’s premier 10 mile road race and we are looking for people to join us on Sunday 16 October 2022 to run for Muscular Dystrophy UK.
The course in Portsmouth goes through historic dockyards and offers those new to running a great challenge as well as the opportunity for a personal best for more experienced athletes. With 25,000 other runners, you will be cheered on by huge crowds and run past bands that will keep you going with lots of music and support.
I was really pleased with my time – The Great South Run was a lot of fun, there was a fantastic atmosphere and it had a great a scenic route.” Toni Charlick
Whether you are new to running or an experienced runner we will give you all the support, advice and fundraising tips you need to prepare for the event.
You’ll receive your very own ‘stand out from the crowd’ #TeamOrange running vest to wear with pride on the day. All we ask is that you pledge to raise £275 to help beat muscular dystrophy.
