SuperNova Kelpies 2023

It’s time to dig out your glowsticks and high vis jackets, gather your friends and family, join #TeamOrange and take on The Kelpies Supernova.

Its a great opportunity to explore the home of two 30-metre high horses! The Kelpies are mythical creatures who love to play at dusk, each one weighing over 300 tonnes. Come and immerse yourself in a light journey with them.

The Supernova Kelpies event is the perfect way to get involved in a timed 5K, whilst taking in the fantastic atmosphere and having lots of fun! Starting & finishing within Helix Park, this beautiful route allows runners the rare opportunity to run alongside the iconic Kelpie sculptures, which are lit up and change colour at dusk to create a beautiful spectacle for participants and spectators alike!

This event is wheelchair friendly though anyone entering the events will be included within the mass field for their respective race. Anyone taking part in a wheelchair must be self-propelled for the entire race, therefore, participants in electric wheelchairs and individuals being pushed by a friend/colleague are not permitted on the course, please contact us for more information.

Why choose Supernova Kelpies to run your 5k in 2023?

Guaranteed entry – no ballots, no lists, no hassle.

When you sign up, we’ll send you your very own stand-out-from-the-crowd #TeamOrange running vest to wear on the day. All we ask in return is that you pledge to raise £100 to help beat muscular dystrophy.
