Funeral and memorial Give and fundraise in memory

By making a donation in memory at the funeral or in lieu of flowers, family and friends will be honouring a loved one in a meaningful way.

You can choose to create a funeral notice online that will provide guests with all the information they need to attend, including a map and a place to leave special thoughts and wishes. If you wish, the funeral notice can be used to let your guests know about any particular wishes for the day, or your chosen charity or charities for donation.

We can provide the following material to support your funeral, memorial service or celebration collections:

  • donation envelopes to allow people to add Gift Aid to their donation, increasing their donation by 25p per pound at no extra cost to them.
  • collection boxes to make it easy to donate.
  • pin badges, a lovely way to remember someone special, are available to purchase in our online shop with proceeds coming directly to MDUK.
  • we can also provide information about Muscular Dystrophy UK to share.

To order materials for your in-memory collection, simply complete the order form below or contact our Supporter Care team by emailing supportercare@musculardystrophyuk.org or by calling 0300 012 0172.

If you have already held a collection, you can send us the funds online or if you’d prefer to send us the proceeds of your collection by post, kindly make cheques payable to Muscular Dystrophy UK, 61A Great Suffolk Street, London SE1 0BU.
