With barbers closed due to lockdown, Scott decided to support a friend and brave the shave for Muscular Dystrophy UK.
When Scott’s friend James had his son Rory in 2015, Rory and Scott instantly became best pals. Rory was diagnosed with Becker muscular dystrophy in 2019, so Scott decided to shave his hair off in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK.
Scott said:
I met Rory on 29 May 2015 when he was born, literally been my best little pal since then. I have some more events in the pipeline to continue to raise money for MDUK in the hope of one day finally finding a cure to this horrible disease.
Scott braved the shave during lockdown and his Mum Tess took on the job of Chief head shaver. With an original target of £150, Scott has so far raised an incredible £1175. You can still donate through his JustGiving page for MDUK.
